5 Star Outfitters is owned and operated by Koby, Robin, Reegan and Lawson Howell. The 5 Star hunting business is based on honesty and integrity.  Hunters will find that we are extremely up front about our hunts, prices, and animal availability.

Koby has been passionately involved in the hunting industry for the past nine years and has guided throughout Texas, New Mexico, and Wyoming. Their home is in San Angelo, Texas with their yellow lab. The goal of the Howell's as well as the 5 Star Team is to make each client's hunt their most memorable hunt ever!  

Koby is a graduate of Angelo State University with a Business degree in Marketing. He enjoys being able to assist in the hunting and harvesting of animals all the way to the finished product in the taxidermy shop. Extreme whitetail hunting is Koby's passion! The coldest, wettest, toughest conditions is where he thrives, hunting the elusive whitetail! It is important to Koby to give every client his total attention, getting to know them personally, so when they leave they're not only clients they're also friends. 

Robin is also a graduate of Angelo State University. She has her Bachelors degree in Education and a Masters degree in Technology, and is a teacher at a local middle school. Robin enjoys hunting whitetail, but when given a choice will always prefer hunting exotics!

Reegan is 5 years old and loves being out on the ranch and hunting with her daddy!

The rest of the 5 Star Team consists of highly seasoned guides, chefs, and breeders! You can always count on the 5 Star Team to go the extra mile!
