The new addition also includes two jet ways, attaching the concourse itself to jet airplanes thus, saving passengers from walking outdoors to board planes, as travelers at Mathis Field traditionally have had to do. Now Mathis Field is able to provide better service to the people traveling to and from San Angelo in addition to giving them a pleasant place to wait.
